The Blonde and the Puzzle
A blonde calls her boyfriend in a panic.
“Please, can you come over? I’ve got this really difficult jigsaw puzzle. I’ve been trying, but I just can’t figure out how to start.”
Her boyfriend, calm and reassuring, asks,
“What is it supposed to look like when it’s finished?”
“Well, according to the picture on the box, it’s a rooster,” she replies confidently.
He heads over immediately to help. When he arrives at her place, he finds the table completely covered in puzzle pieces—some flipped upside down, some sticking to her fingers. It’s pure chaos.
He takes one look at the pieces… then at the box… and a smile slowly creeps onto his face. With a soft but serious tone, he says:
“Okay, first of all, no matter how hard we try, these pieces are not going to turn into a rooster. And second… maybe we should just make ourselves a nice cup of tea… and put all these Corn Flakes back in the box.”
Little Johnny and the Vanishing Cows
In an elementary school classroom, the teacher gives the students a creative assignment:
“Kids, I want each of you to paint a picture of cows grazing in a green meadow.”
The children eagerly get to work. Green crayons, blue skies, brown and black cows begin to fill the pages.
But after just a few minutes, Little Johnny raises his hand proudly and shows the teacher… a completely blank sheet of paper.
“Johnny,” the teacher says in surprise, “you didn’t draw anything!”
With total calm and a perfectly serious face, Johnny replies:
“Well, the cows ate all the grass… and once the grass was gone, they just left.”
The teacher stands frozen… trying to decide between sending him to the principal’s office or giving him an award for creativity.
